Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun

Dec 14, 2020

I loved every minute of this show, usually it takes a lot for me to like something but for this show it only took livable characters. I loved all the interactions and chemistry everyone had with each other's. There was no plots or hiding meanings but I don't care for that. All the show needed was a group of friends having fun that you could laugh with. The comedy was amazing, so much more. I get why someone might not care for this show but I liked it a lot:)

Magi: Adventure of Sinbad

Nov 19, 2020

This anime may be bad in other people's opinions but it's sort of that one show that simply has a pass in my mind. I wasn't watching this to get a big complete story but rather Sinbad is just an interesting character with interesting friends and I like watching them interact.  I should put it out there that I also really hate magi and the fact that this was even a little better than that show might be why i like it so much.  I also think that not every anime has to be watched with such a serious lense especially when you can tell it wasn't made to be more than a spin-off  that promotes the... Great Pretender

Nov 19, 2020

I really did like this anime. It has interesting characters and an over arching plot that you sort of saw but then realized it had nothing to do with what you thought it was. Everything except the final scheme in season 2 was amazing to me. All the characters were well fleshed out due to the structure of the whole show. Each scheme sort of digs into each of our MCs pasts and you learn more abt them. The art was super colorful and ALSO included poc characters which i am very grateful for. The story sort of always had you on your toes because you were wondering how they were going to get out of this mess this... See full review

No Game No Life: Zero

Aug 6, 2020

I definitely think as a prequel? it expanded on the universe and was helpful to know what happened to make the world like that and why the different races are on such bad terms etc etc. I found it slightly confusing at the end but I could've just been distracted idk. It was a good though.

Nobunaga Concerto

Jun 30, 2020

I actually somewhat liked it despite the mixed response. If anything it was the animation that threw me off, i don't mind them not having expressions, but when they get hard news like the death of a friend i feel like it's necessary. The inconsistency in animation was a little weird too. I liked the story though, (i'm on episode 3 my opinion may change🤷🏽‍♀️) it's been interesting. Edit: I stopped watching after the 3rd episode lol

The 8th Son? Are You Kidding Me?

Jun 6, 2020

Everyone's more or less a stereotype rather than a character. The episodes don't really have an overarching plot but instead it's like a little adventure every episode which wouldn't be bad if the adventures were actual adventures and not a 'we met (insert name) and now they're apart of the crew stick along to see if they'll actually be important' idrk the story's not terrible but nothing i would want to spend time watching. I'd rather watch fairytale.

Dynamic Chord

Apr 30, 2020

I cant rate it because I didn't get more than 20 minutes in, but the entire time I was deeply confused about what was going on and why. All panning shots started to make me wonder if I was watching a second season to something and didn't know it because I had no idea who anybody was or whether we were cutting to flashbacks, the future or different characters daily lives.

ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.

Apr 30, 2020

Overall it was a good show only problems were with the animation because it wasn't great, but not terrible. The animation caused some of the characters to come off as boring an example would be Lotta(i think that's her name). She had an interesting personality but the way she was drawn did not do her justice because her face and body just didn't move correctly. The show would be amazing if it had these problems fixed because I did enjoy the show it was just the way it was drawn that made the show seem kind of boring from time to time. Although the plot twists and dialogue really surprised me. Some things I... See full review

My Little Monster

Apr 28, 2020

I liked it in the beginning because the show wasn't a sad music type of romance, it was goofy with a little serious which was entertaining because i don't really like the romance genre that much. I was into it until maybe episode 5 or 6 when harus feeling seemed to be devalued and I was waiting for someone to get their feelings hurt or for Harus brother to come back and mess everything up but nothing happened. For the rest of the show nothing happens it's just that one chic who's name starts with an M being unable to understand her feeling and that pissed me off. It's one thing to not know how you feel... Welcome to the Ballroom

Apr 13, 2020

It wasn't the best I've ever seen and they mixed up intimidating with scary when drawing the characters. Also I didn't really like the MC because I found it hard to connect with him. His whole I don't know what I'm doing with my life, connected with me but I just felt that the moment he found ballroom dancing they seemed to have forgotten that ON PAPER he doesn't know what he's doing. I don't remember him going back and turning in that slip of paper or being asked about it after maybe the first episode? Also the chic from episode 13-24 wasn't the best move on the writers part. I didn't like how she came off... See full review

Days

Apr 13, 2020

Man i hated the main character, everytime i saw him i was like 'he's crying?? again???'  He also seemed to confess his feeling really early on to ppl he's never met. Honestly if you watched Ace of Diamond you'd realize that Sawamura did that A LOT but he was sharing his hopes and dreams because he wanted to be the best and sharing his hopes and dreams contributed to the story. It did not in Days if anything it just made me uncomfortable because NOBODY ASKED and he would start spilling his guts abt how he's never had friends and stupid stuff every few minutes. I did not like it whatsoever but I'm gonna... See full review

Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor

Apr 11, 2020

Honestly, I'm not going to put too much effort into this review because frankly the show doesn't deserve my time. I liked the idea of the show which is why I watched it but personally The last few episodes weren't as good as the beginning. The last few episodes gave me MAJOR fairytale vibes. It's not bad, the comedy was alright and made me smile and the action was enough to keep me watching but it was nothing great. Watch it to pass time but not to invest any real emotion towards the show and characters.

Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion

Apr 10, 2020

worst anime I've ever watched like there were so many plot wholes and things that were never explained. They tried to do that mysterious background thing, but with such an elaborate plot it just made things more confusing. Also, it was really vulgar with up in your face beheading and cutting people in half. Personally I don't care how much killing there is, it's just there was an unnecessary amount to the point it would make you uncomfortable. The show was so stupid I couldn't really remember any name except for the love of everybody's life, kuchii. Who's name was literally pronounced coochie. I don't mean... See full review

91 Days

Apr 7, 2020

was really well written, i don't generally like mystery or anime with lots of dialogue I'm more into action and adventure, so it was surprising that i like it as much as i did. The characters were developed in a way that made you like them and really understand why they do things. It sort had you wanting for Angelo to get his way but at the same time they developed Nero so that you liked him and didn't want him to feel betrayed Overall it was a well paced story that had you hooked every episode. The way they ended it was nice and i REFUSE to believe what happened at the end of episode 12 was true I'm just... See full review

Alderamin on the Sky

Apr 6, 2020

It was DEFINITELY not as bad as everyone says because the animation was not that ass and the plot wasn't either. This is literally a better more thought out version of attack on titans. The characters were not exactly all about development though, they start op and end op and that ok. I think it's just the fact that a lot of it was semi boring and had me confused. I was paying attention but was STILL unsure who the holy? army was and which side they were on. All i'm saying, though, is that it's not bad and over all a good watch as long as you don't mind the fact that there's no season 2 and the ending was... See full review

Ace of the Diamond: Act II

Apr 5, 2020

Was really good but not something new. We saw the exact same plot last season and somehow they still managed to keep me on my toes. I watched this season as excited as I was last season so that's good and I actually bothered to learn the names of the players. Also the over all vibe this season was more friendly and about growth than any other season. It shows you that the journey isn't for nothing and not only is sawamuras playing better but his attitude. Great character development but for the live of god can we get new music? i'm so tired of the same guitar and drums playing everytime something gets even... See full review

Candidate for Goddess

Apr 2, 2020

this show has been done a thousands times in way better ways, if i wanted to watch power rangers i would go watch power rangers. I'm not gonna lie i skipped through a good 60% of it because there was too much dialogue or the characters did something stupid and i did not want to sit through them being scolded only to NOT be kicked out.

Campione!

Apr 2, 2020

I understood but at the same time i didn't? it was good but also very cliche in a sense and it pissed me off how everyone was in love w him and was ready to settle down as a threesome and like idc what type of relationship someone has gay, straight, or even open, but i found it weird how all the girls acknowledged each other and were okay with knowing he didn't love all of them the same. And then all the new girls coming in as if they had some type of right to him. but even with that i still liked it.

Yuri!!! on Ice

Apr 2, 2020

GREAT, but i hated how sometimes the anime came off as almost 3D when they skated or the skates were almost leaning in the air and not actually on the ground which was cool but just wanted to point it out. they kind of danced around them being gay as if they were but maybe they weren't. my favorite was yurio (the russian one) because he was sort of complex, wish they gave him more time to explore his friendship and his self. only thing i'm mad abt was the ending because i binge watched it only to find out my cheering was for __ place :((( loved it tho

Try Knights

Apr 2, 2020

it wasn't bad but really cliche and something i could get from watching an episode of free. also just little inconsistencies with the animation when people fell and it sort seemed like the ground fell away too only for the fall to continue in the next frame. then the whole 3D look it sometimes had when they panned out when people were running.

Ace of the Diamond: Second Season

Mar 28, 2020

A lot of intensity and talking, personally I hate a lot of talking and sort of skipped through some parts but overall they balance it with fun times and comedic relief sprinkled around. I like how they don't rush his progression, although he remains op it's not so much that he can't get better, but enough that he isn't stuck at #20 all three seasons. he slowly makes his way up the ranks and his friendships with the other players grow like any regular team would, you have the people you don't like and some that you do but your friendship starts out superficial and in the most recent season we see how they...
