I'm a relative newcomer to the world of anime; and, being in my 60s, possibly the oldest newbie you're ever likely to meet, to boot.
I'm also something of a heretic (or so I gather), given that I generally prefer a well-dubbed production to squinting blearily at a subtitled one. (Go ahead and hate, if you like; I'm genuinely too old and worn to give a rat's ass if any of you kids want to get your troll on.) My favorite manga creator is Rumiko Takahashi.
CURRENTLY WATCHING: Inuyasha (122 episodes, and counting...!)
ADDENDUM: Breaking up every few seasons of Inuyasha with something else, just to avoid series burnout. Right now, that means I'm experiencing Cyborg 009: The Cyborg Soldier for the very first time.
