Don't be afraid! I defiantly was the first time I started the first episode of Gintama: Somewhere in the future, where aliens have invaded and taken all the jobs, crappy animated and with a... moderate overall ranking, how could an anime under these circumstances become a great anime?   I'm not quite sure, but it sure showed me. Now it is my favorite anime of all times. I'm normally a person that hates mecha, magic and supernatural stuff. If you find the sentence "I will shred these panties and then commit suicide" a bit humorous and you got the knowledge to separate animated characters to actual 6th graders then you will find this show funny.As far as the story goes - there is none. As for the character development and plot conflicts - there is none. Mitsudomoe is all about panties, misunderstandings and randomness. A lot of the humor is based on the fact that the characters are 6th graders and put into awkward situation with each other, their teachers and their parents.
