That's a nice way of putting it. The lack of self discipline is alarming. People need to get that they're required to follow the safety guidelines not only for their own sakes but for the sake of others as well. No. Everyone who goes out is mandated to wear masks and people generally follow this as far as I can tell. There will be exceptions of course but they generally adhere to this.

That's excellent news.

Absolutely right. Time is at a premium in this stage of our lives. Well, 20th Century Boys is also excellent. So is Master Keaton and I haven't completed Billy Bat but Monster is the one that stands out to me.

Yeah. The situation there is quite severe. I live in India and its getting worse everyday here too. I am working from home though. People should exercise self control even if the lockdown is lifted in my opinion. Cany believe that they're making someone who is infected work. I do hope that your friend recovered. People are crazy.

I've also done my fair share of rewatches but not that many in recent history. Inuyasha is a title that I've watched many times too. Yes. I have a younger brother. He's four and a half years younger.

Yep. Monster is Urasawa's best work in my opinion and t's a masterpiece. Very glad that you feel the same way. That last arc was a fantastic culmination of everything that went on before it. Some of the scenes are so powerful and memorable.

Hello. How do you do?

I have been watching for a long time so the numbers have piled up. I haven't been watching at anywhere near the same rate lately though.

I was never able to get into the manga or the original anime but I'm glad that it got a remake. It certainly looks crisp and a lot more accessible. I'm waiting for the whole thing to be adapted before I can resume watching it.

Good question. It's hard to pick only three but if I were forced to do so then:

1. Monster - This really is so intriguing on so many levels.

2. Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou - I could watch the two leads all day.

3. Non Non Biyori - Relaxing Japanese countryside with cute characters.

Ooh coincidentally, Skip Beat is already in my "Want To Watch" list 😁! I can't wait to watch it soon. I just finished ReLife yesterday, so I just started an anime! Right now, I'm starting Pet which is a psychological anime. I found episode one interesting so far, and I can't wait to watch the rest. Plus, to my surprise, the intro was sang by Ling Tosite from TK, the dude who sang Unravel (btw one of my favorite anime intros of all time). Thanks for the blue dragon dude's name 😂!

I saw that you wanted to watch 1001 movies before you die! I have no doubt you'll be able to do it! Have you ever thought of wanting to forget your favorite anime/movie/TV series just to watch it all over again as if you are watching it for the first time? I get plenty of those feelings. The anime I would watch over and over again would be Special A. I just love how wholesome it is. Oof, I haven't watched Sailor Moon yet. I heard it was a classic tho!

Shoujo-ai is definitely an interesting genre, and I have yet to watch anime like that! That's really cool that you enjoy that type of anime. What do you recommend for that genre? Also, on my watch list is Sing "Yeterday" to me and the remake of Fruits Basket. I was waiting for the second season of Fruits Basket to be finished so that I would be able to enjoy binge-watching it all 😋.

I know, this pandemic has affected this year's anime, and I'm pretty bummed about it. But yeah, safety should be prioritized! Good thing Japan has it under control. I think most Asian countries are so strict or so careful that they don't have a lot of people with COVID. That's a good thing! Oh I should definitely sign up for the 2020 summer anime thanks for reminding me lol

Do you watch J-doramas also? Ik, there's not a lot that are good. I think Good Morning Call is one of the best. Also, Mischievous Kiss! Those two series also have their own anime.

It's really nice talking to you! I don't normally talk a lot (verbally) to a lot of people because I'm very introverted. I do have friends tho, but we don't talk to each other often because of COVID. I'm also too shy to call them 😅!
