I must say that this story was solid, however the execution was quite discombobulated.  First they just throw you into the story with no explanation, which is fine, but then the story is just all over the place.  And the last 4 episodes are pretty much a cluster too as they seem to be more filler than anything.

The characters are well done as well done too.  Eventually we get their backstories and motivations, and those are solid.  And a difference here, the MC is not OP.

Nuts and bolts wise the animation is decent, the music is good, and the audio levels are stable.

Overall the fight scenes are pretty good.  There is a fair amount of comedy as well.  As a fantasy series its easy to watch.
