This series is a primary example of why I try to judge the anime and their related Manga separately.  Having read the Manga I understand why fans of it might be disappointed with portions of the show and how rushed certain parts were.  However, if you ignore the Manga and treat this as a separate entity, it is a perfectly good show.  But if you can't separate the two, then this might not be you cup of tea if you loved the Manga.

That said, the story here is a pretty simple isekai, that has some action, but leans more towards a slice of life series.  The animation is good as is the musical score.  One thing I loved about the series is that the audio was consistent, and I wasn't having to constantly adjust my volume between various scene types.

The characters are cute and likable, although the series doesn't do a whole lot of character development, which is why having read the Manga was helpful, at least in my opinion.  And yes this is another tamer show, mainly using slimes, and I get that there are a number of those type of shows, but so what.  Thats what is currently trendy... get over it.  It doesn't make the show any less fun to watch.  

This is a good show and definitely worth watching.  Easy to sit back and relax to, unless you are one of those people who are just looking for some nonsense to complain about.
