IS COMPLETED - 6 IS THE LAST CHAPTER (unless there are gonna be side chapters later)

Overall: I liked the overall weird theme of the book. I tend to like ones about weightloss, but this one had an interesting take all around. Would I read it again? Mmm, maybe once or twice. But it's not something I'm dying to pick up again. More "that was nice" vibes.

Story: As I mentioned prior, this story was interesting. I mean, the fact that the ploit is focused on a boy who avoids excersizing because it gives him a b*ner is, in of itself, unique. The story's pacing is fine, where I felt it failed was character-attachment. Although it could be arugued against, because it's only 6 chapters, I have read shorter stories where you can attached to the characters more. I felt like we were only able to get surface deep when it came to them. Yeah we got to know their "deep secret(s)" since they were important for the story, but we didn't get to know them, you know what I mean? I left feeling more of a "well that was odd and cute", not "omg, (enter character) was so cute"/"that was really moving"

Characters: Saotome is a wierd character for the story. He's the love interest and is important while seemingly adding nothing to the story. Minus his odd acceptance of Hinamoto's "issue" and his involvement in a oddly wholesome-yet-creepy ending, he is really lacking in any character description, development, etc. We get the most random shots of him - like him looking around his room with muscle pics hanging everywhere, or his own odd "issue" (which can we REALLY call it an issue, especially with that ending???) Hinamoto is the classic sad-backstory-naive type of uke. I would say it's unique to have his weight fluctuate throughout and not just have chub-muscle - which is nice!

Art: The art wasn't anything super special, but it was okay. I wasn't the biggest fan of Hinamoto's hair or Saotome's lack of facial expression (he did somewhat have a variety, I just feel like there wasn't much of it looking back) - but those are my ownly compaints.

7/10 story
7/10 art
8/10 characters
7.5/10 overall
