issi says... Most sincere apologies for the late reply sianeka! I haven't been online much because of the holidays, I'm sorry!
\r\n
No need to be sorry that you took some time to savor and enjoy your holiday season! I'm hoping that you haven't been online due to holidays because you've been celebrating, anyway. (I do know one poor soul who hasn't been online much due to holiday weather - a big storm knocked out his internet connection. *sad*)
\r\n
issi says... I see that you still have the christmas avatar going on :) ! Still loving it! Hopefully you had a lovely christmas, and that you have a great new year, spent in the way you enjoy the most
\r\n
Thank you! I'll prolly keep my holiday avatar until just after New Year's. Then I'll change back to my previous one. Not adventurous to get a new avvy! Besides, I -like- my old one!
\r\n
issi says... Heh you have a lot of followers and I noticed you are part of a welcoming comitee, yes? You must be popular! I'm glad to know you are cool about it though!
\r\n
I am lucky to have lots of followers - I really can't explain it! LOL - and not only am I part of a welcoming committee, I'm the founder of it! *big smile* I thought it would be a good thing to welcome new members to the site, and thus was WECO formed (WECO is my nickname for my A-P WElcoming COmmittee.)
\r\n
issi says... Hahah I understand the feeling :D The worst is having to choose one thing out of all the things you wanna do. Is one lifetime really enough time as they say? I wonder..
\r\n
My vote is no - we all need at least one more lifetime! hahahaha
\r\n
issi says... Heh, thank you, but believe me, my english is no way near mastered! You'll slowly notice it as we continue to exchange comments. How about you though? In your bio it says you are learning japanese. That is one of the hardest languages to learn for english speakers or so I've heard! Is it true?
\r\n
Japanese is like no other language I've studied, and because it is so different from English, I can see where it would be considered one of the hardest to learn for English speakers. Even the very sentence structure is altered! A Japanese sentence reads Subject-Object-Verb, whereas English is Subject-Verb-Object, so to English ears, Japanese people even think oddly! Literal translations would sound like the character Yoda from Star Wars, who has that structure to many of his sentences - it is one of the features that makes him unique and distinctive!
\r\n
Example. English: I ate an apple. Subject = I Object =apple Verb = ate
\r\n
Japanese: ringo o watashi ga tabeta. (Literal translation: An apple I ate.)
\r\n
To make matters worse, Japanese has sentence markers called particles that define the word's role in a sentence, which is something English does not have at all. More complications: Japanese doesn't use plurals so that same sentence I wrote in Japanese as an example also means I ate the apples! (All of them!) Further complication: they don't use English letters as I have here in my sample, they have their own "alphabet" (syllabary) It should actually be: 林檎を私が食べた。
\r\n
I could go on and on! hahahaha
\r\n
\r\n
PS I'll repeat - your mastery of English is superb! Your English is GREAT!
