Hi!

I'm Shawn (as you can see from my username) and I'm a high schooler who started watching anime in 9th grade.

In my very first couple months, I watched soo many different anime, especially ones in the "ecchi" or "harem" genre. I mean c'mon, I was a perverted brat a couple years ago. I was very introverted and was a "closet fan". Besides all the mainstream anime, like Naruto and One Piece that even some of my few american friends have seen, no one knew what I really was like.

It's very different nowadays; EVERYONE knows that I watch anime, even if they are familiar with me or not. I openly express my feelings, even though I'm more of a casual rather than me in 9th grade. I graduated from my hidden side, and I even managed to get some of my friends into anime!

On the topic of weeaboos, I would like to say that my friends and I use some japanese words when we are joking about stuff, but I can't stand people who try to speak in japanese just from watching anime. This sounds mean, but that's just one of my peeves.

As for my preferences, I enjoy a lot of action, romance, and comedy, be it anime or manga. Psychological stuff is good too.

I'm very proud of my achievement of catching up on One Piece within a couple months during my school year last year. Which I probably shouldn't have done because I ended up getting a C in one of my classes.

My top 3 anime are probably 1. One Punch Man (because yesss), 2. Danshi koukousei no nichijou (the funniest thing ever), and 3. Golden Time (The plot was so good even though I didn't really like the main character).

My top 3 manga (besides One Punch Man) are probably 1. The World God Only Knows (mainly because the anime didnt cover the last arc, which was kind of important), 2. Himouto! Umaru-chan (again, super funny), and 3. Shishunki Bitter Change (hasn't updated in forever though).

That concludes my "brief" bio pretty well, I guess.
