I am just really triggered since their wasn't much character progression of my liking. I have not read the manga yet, but i just felt kind of bored watching season 2. I did love how they ended it with Chitoge because I felt like they really lacked in her character progression with Ichijo in season 2. I felt like in ep 4 I wished Chitoge was much more thankful than she was since she really did not thank Ichijo. She let him rest his head on her lap, but that was it. I felt like she should of fell in love with Ichijo more since he literally worked his ass of and than got chewed out when he had to make an excuse for Chitoge's mother because she missed the meeting. I felt like she personally was ungratful for how much effort Ichijo put in into letting her mother stay with her. I felt like they could of done more with this episode because it was an impactful episode since it really showed how much her cared about Chitoge. I just wished she would of fell in love more with Ichijo after this episode since he put in so much effort on her behalf. I personally didn't like how Ichijo ALWAYS wanted to be with Onodera, but I understand that he was in love with her and she was in love with him, but I wished they both were more confindent and really spoke their mind so it wouldn't be like a waiting game on even if they are going to tell eachother how they feel. I always wanted to watch Nisekoi and when I did I just felt wronged. I guess I put such a high bar for this anime since I always wanted to watch it, but it really did not reach my expectations. I am not hating on the anime at all. I enjoyed watching it and am glad I did, but I felt like some parts were a little stale and boring. I did enjoy it when the added Haru because I liked her attitude towards Ichijo which was a change of pace. Overall I just wished it was more on the romatic side and stuff, but I did enjoy watching season 1 and 2 and am glad I did.
