Ugly prince? How is he ugly?! 

The abused male lead falls for his servant who treats him like a normal human being, a pretty recurring trope in fiction. There is palace politics, parental neglect, bullying, abusive family, a bit of kung fu, and a relationship that grows against class differences in this manhua. But none of this is properly explored. The characters and the plot developments are shallow and quite predictable. Even with the romance plotline, i am not convinced about the eunuch's feelings. He just goes along with whatever the prince says and often helps him in his own ways. Most of the time he brushes off the prince's advancements just like that. They do have a bond and they cherish each other but this isn't enough to establish the existence of a romantic relationship between them. I am just assuming that the eunuch finally accepted the prince's proposal and became his lover. The last 3 chapters made me feel like i skipped a 100 chapters before that. Everything is pretty average.
