Devilman:Crybaby sure did set the standard high on whats expected for a 2018 anime. The story of the anime sets around Akira and Ryo the series  starts to unravel later in the episodes revealing some pretty crazy things ranging from Devils , to Ryo's background , and betrayal . The anime also has a lot of refrences shows how easy it is to manipulate humans .

Theres also a lot of gruesome sceens but if i were to talk about those I'll be spoiling the series therefore , go watch the series and come back to me. 

 in the summer of 1983, Keiichi Maebara moved to a quiet village of Hinamizawa. becoming inseparable friends with schoolmates Rena Ryuuguu, Mion Sonozaki, Satoko Houjou, and Rika Furude.

As the village prepares for its annual festival, Keiichi learns about the local legends surrounding it. To his horror, he discovers that there have been several murders and disappearances in the village in the recent years and that they all seem to be connected to the festival and the village's patron god, Oyashiro. He asks but is still left in the dark and is not told anything about it.

Let's just say curiosity ends up killing the cat.

2 teens stumble upon a bloody naked young girl who's actually a mutant serial killer with a split personality, This will change their lives for better or for worse. She's an experiment gone terribly wrong -- and it is only a matter of time before the murderer in her awakens again...

This anime is one of the most gruesome animes ever, it has everything from heads flying to insane amounts of blood everywhere so if you like this sort of thing, go watch it.

Mystery and Death sure make a great combination. 

Things set back to many years back in 1972, a popular girl in Yomiyama North Middle School's class 3-3 named Misaki passed away during the school year.  Since then, the town of Yomiyama has been shrouded by a fearful atmosphere, from the dark secrets hidden deep within. 

In order to calm the curse, There's now a tradition where someone is randomly selected in the class of 3-3 and is outcast by the rest of the class, no one must talk to the person selected or else things will happen. 26 years later someone decides to stand down from the tradition.

A lot of tragic events which all deal with a lot of blood being spilled, the story may have you a little lost ( I was lost af too ) but it will figure itself out.

And always remember kids, Don't run down the stairs with your umbrella.

In a world where humanity's only chance of survival is being protected by a wall ( WALL MARIA )  and later ( the wall) is taken down by no other than the colossal titan, things are pretty much set to go head downhill from there.

If you consider yourself an "otaku" then you must certainly have seen AOT but for those who haven't Don't worry I decided to put it on the list for the sake of those brothers and sisters who have not watched Attack on titan, it is a must.

After the wall gets taken out many and MANY people are eaten. Eren jaeger, Mikasa, and Armin survive and move forward joining the Survey Corps to claim back the fallen wall and wipe off all of the titans. 

AOT has a lot of mystery to it and a lot of secrets but it's certainly a MUST WATCH so if you haven't watched it at this point I suggest you get your binge watch on and catch up before the next season comes out.

Saya Kisaragi is a skilled swordswoman charged by her father to defeat Elder Bairns, monsters who feed on human blood.

As her battles grow more desperate and more people she cares for fall victim to the Elder Bairns, Saya begins finding faults in her reality and eventually uncovers a disturbing truth about herself, the town and her surviving friends.

This anime is packed with a lot of action, gore and betrayal.

Saya Otonashi is a seemingly ordinary girl living a mundane life with her adoptive family in Okinawa City.

Saya's forgotten past quickly comes back to haunt her—one night, she is attacked at school by a creature that feeds on human blood. Just when all hope seems lost, a mysterious man named Haji appears and fends off the creature temporarily. But when her rescuer forces her to drink his blood, Saya suddenly enters a trance and slays the monster with ease, using her own blood as a catalyst. 

she is the only one capable of defeating them. Embarking on the wipe-out mission, in hopes that she rediscovers her identity.

A lot of unexpected deaths and scenarios that absolutely got me highly upset. but there's a little romance between Saya and Hagi which made me ship the hard. I know you'll ship them too. 

After Dracula's wife is burned alive due to being accused of selling her soul to the devil/being a witch.  He ( out of respect for his wife ) gives the people 1 year to get out or else they were going to regret it. No one took Dracula's words serious instead on the day of his wife 1st year anniversary they celebrated her death, this angered Dracula who assembled his army and brought hell to earth to avenge the death of the only woman he loved.

(personally, I believed all of them had it coming.) Castlevania is pretty good and extremely interesting. I sort of feel bad to those who were innocent like the children and such because the adults are literally a lost cause who have been brainwashed by the church. 

There are a lot of gruesome scenes in this anime too.

Human eating Parasites begin to take over humanity and however in an attempt to conquer the body of Shinichi things didn't go quite as planned.

Now, Migi ( the parasite ) and Shinichi must learn to co-exist with each other. While Shinichi lives a Human/Parasyte live.

Crazy things happen in this anime, It will be a waste to Not watching it. 

Yukiteru Amano spends his days writing a diary on his cellphone while conversing with his two seemingly imaginary friends Deus Ex Machina, who is the god of time and space, and Murmur, the god's servant. 

an actual entity, Deus grants Yukiteru a "Random Diary," which shows highly descriptive entries based on the future and forces him into a bloody battle royale with 11 other holders of similarly powerful future diaries.

Nine students gather in their high school at night to bid farewell to a friend. As is customary among many high school students, they perform a sort of ritual for them to remain friends forever, using small paper charms shaped like dolls.

the students do not realize that these charms are connected to Heavenly Host Academy—an elementary school that was destroyed years ago after a series of gruesome murders took place, a school that rests under the foundation of their very own Kisaragi Academy. Now, trapped in an alternate dimension with vengeful ghosts of the past, the students must work together to escape or die trying.

The Ushiromiya family gathers for their annual family conference to discuss how the inheritance of the ailing family head.

After the eight family members arrive, a typhoon traps them on the island and shortly after people start to get mysteriously murdered.

On behalf of me, DON'T be like Makoto because you're going to end up like MAKOTO. 

plus we don't need more people like Makoto in this world.

I think mostly no one pays attention to how gruesome and messed up some deaths and situations are in Akame ga Kill.
