Violet Evergarden... for me this show holds astounding amounts of emotions portrayed by the subtle and carefully thought out facial expressions as well as body language. The show surpasses the stage of making the viewer feel emotional, but instead, it truly encompasses you and makes you emphasise with the character so wholly that you might as well have lived as one with the main character. The unparalleled animation coupled with the hellish art style of many lines only further portrays the sweat and blood that the animators put into this anime. the picturesque scenes as well as the most minor of details are clearly what makes this work a piece of art, the fact that the animators decided to take the series in a whole other direction compared to all the other series at the time, comes to show how innovative and unique this show is. The production staff held nothing back and charged in without fear for the high-quality finish of this anime which moved thousands to tears.

Personally, this is my favourite anime not only for the animation but for the love of the characters, the story and the music. This, to me, is a unforgettable experience that has struck my heart so deeply I believe it will remain with in the future to come. The music still tugs at my heart even without the animation to back it up, it is connected as one with the story and brings sensitivity to it as well as many other feelings’ which you are unable to escape from whilst listening to the delicate, yet strong soundtrack specifically designed for this anime.
