Maya is a cat who befriends the Azumanga Daioh cat-loving character Sakaki, when all other cats just don't want her friendship and attention (poor Sakaki!). Maya based on a real species of native Japanese cats - the Iriomote mountain cats.

Hi! There isn't an anime assiciated with the angel-winged girl - it is a character created by an artist for the site, inspired by anime-style and based loosely on the site's founder, sothis, who wanted a site mascot.
