I have a soft spot for mecha anime, so I tend to give it a lot of leeway when it comes to suspension of disbelief. I really enjoy Back Arrow's character designs (they're so ridiculously over-the-top) and the mystery of the wall and where all the tech came from has me intrigued. It does feel like it could be based on a video game, but that doesn't bother me. Hunter x Hunter is an action shonen I think I would enjoy- I have seen a few episodes and liked what I saw, but I don't watch too many long-running titles. I do plan to watch more at some point though- along with Naruto and Bleach.

Steins;Gate was awesome! It took me a long time to get around to watching it, and I stalled it for quite a while, but once I really got into it, it was a lot of fun and I thought it was really good. I'm not sure I have a favorite character per se- I liked all of them for different reasons and how they interacted with each other, although I do really like Okabe. I didn't like Steins;Gate 0 nearly as much as the original anime, for whatever reason, but I thought the film was pretty good.

I'm really enjoying this season's Sk8 the Infinity, Wonder Egg Priority and Dr. Ramume- it looks like you're watching all of these as well. I'm also really enjoying Back Arrow and Scard- both are ridiculous, but fun. I've kinda gotten away from watching any older stuff- too much to do right now, but I keep them on my watching list as a reminder that they're the shows I want to finish watching first. What are you enjoying watching?

Hey thanks again for the recommendations. I honestly see what you mean about Dumbbells. I might give it another chance in a few days because right now I'm just not finding anything funny. It's not really the anime's fault, just, yeah. As for Re Zero, admittedly I gave in and started the new season and got mostly though the first episode so far, and well Otto is great. I'm glad he's got a huge role so far and it's seems like a long time ago where people thought he was a coward.

Yeah, I did give it four stars. I have read the review pointing out the inconsistencies of the time travel logic, and I will admit that it does have some flaws. Nonetheless, I really really enjoyed watching it. The tension was built up so I would be sitting on the edge of my seat. Though characters may not have had any iconic designs to remember, I still was on a journey with them especially Satoru and Kayo. Seeing Satoru's mindset about his meaning in life and his relationships around him change was something I loved. Seeing him try his hardest to save her and fail, really put me on a rollercoaster. Lot's of people are unhappy with the ending, but I honestly don't really mind. Kayo was saved by Satoru so she could live her life, and now she's been living it. I'm so proud of how she grew, escaping her abuse and then go further to create a functional family of her own.

^ This was probably my favourite scene, I loved the use of colours, or use of lack of colour. It had a great way of conveying the atmosphere in my opinion. Oh hey! You've seen Demon Slayer. Have you heard that it won the crunchy roll award? What do you think of it?

I also agree that Gon gets wayy too much hate. In fact, I prefer him over Killua. Protaganists like Gon, Tanjiro (demon slayer), Deku (BNHA), Hinata (Haikyuu!!), Ash (Pokemon), etc. are characters which I find really inspiring with their unwavering determination. Some do prefer corruption arcs, but redemption/heroic arcs will always remain my favourites. Gon is indeed a bit simple minded, but just as you said, he really makes up for that with the fact that at the core, he is still has very good morals. Killua is cool as well, but I agree with you completely, though it isn't his fault and due to his upbringing, sometimes his insensitive to killing and uncaring nature to most others apart from Gon bothers me. But one thing I have to give to him is that he has gone through some character development, and I've heard he will go through some more.

Back to Gon, some people would prefer that Killua was the MC but I don't think I would like it nearly as much. Of course, seeing an OP assasin boy do OP things is cool, but with the absencef Gon, Killua wouldn't have been able to escape from the influence of Illumi and his family's ways. Also, with the lack of justice Killua has and his insensitivity to killing, this would make HxH not as enjoyable. His relationship with Gon is clearly his most important one, and I believe he would prioritise that over with Kurapika or Leorio, therefore their characters wouldn't have as much meaning.

You've seen Erased, right? Any thoughts on that?
