Hi All,

I'm Alex, I live in the UK..  between London and Scotland (I'm Scottish)..  I have a dream to go and live and work in Japan, but still considering how to make it happen :)

I was introduced to anime via my ex-gf, she was a big bleach fan, she put on the first movie one night and then I started watching the series..   I got up to about episode 300 and the kind of lost momentum with it..  In parallel over the last few years I found some other series on my own and ones I've enjoyed in particular include:

 - Black Lagoon

 - Claymore

 - Polar Bear Cafe

 - Nausicaa & The Valley Of The Wind (an anime with an excellend dub cast!)

I've seen several others I quite like, but none worth calling out specifically.

I dabble a little in sketching and have done a few manga style drawings, but I'm still a total beginner..

I work in IT - corporate systems - finance and accounting, yeah yeah - not so creative or exciting huh?  But I like doing different artistic and creative things in my spare time when I can, that's when I'm not lazing around watching anime or other things!

I used to play world of warcraft, but managed to quit the habbit a couple of years ago :)  I also like some U.S. TV shows, currently watching entourage..

UK comedies are good too, if you haven't tried them check out peep show and IT crowd..
