Gorgeous animation and a lot of fresh ideas are what Star Wars: Visions brings to the table, but it also lacks in a few other areas.

Some of the best episodes are the ones that let the action take over and does a better job of presenting that episode's idea than clumsy dialogue ever would. Unfortunately, some episodes are better than others for this exact reason, as a few try to grab an emotional hook over the space of 15-20 minutes, which is just too short.

Still, Visions is a blast to watch, as you can forgive some clumsy storytelling just to watch some of the best fights any Star Wars property has done in years.
