If you're just looking for a fighting anime, this is probably a pretty good one. Lots of actions, and interesting fighting techniques/powers/weapons. If you want something with originality, and/or a not so cheesy story, this might not be the one for you.I liked it enough that i don't regret watching it, but i dont like it enough to ever watch it again.

STORY This is a great Anime if you're looking for a series you can finish quickly. The first 16 episodes Don't really give you all that much in regards to the point of the story, but they do introduce you to the most important characters  and allow you to get acquainted with them rather well. There is lots of action, right from the start, and good comedy in these episodes to keep you interested.  Personally, i recomend skipping ahead to episode 17 the first time you watch the series. I find it hard to believe the low ratings DB and DBZ have on this site. This is not only a fantastic Anime, but one of the best stories ever put together in the history of literature. I will stand behind that statement no matter what argument anyone wants to make.  First of all, by covering a story from the main characters childhood all the way till his mid life (so far), Akira Toriyama does something that (to my knowledge) nobody else in modern times has done.
