Yo yo yo! Welcome to my profile. You can call me by my username or David, which is my name in the real world. Either way is fine.
I've been watching anime for as long as I can remember, ever since I was even barely able to walk. I mean, what else could I do? Anime was big in many parts of Asia, and where I came from, the Philippines, it was the dominant cartoon medium for kids (and it probably still is).
I can't exactly pinpoint the very first anime I ever saw, but maybe somewhere along the lines of Gundam Wing and/or Dragon Ball. Other shows I've seen back then include Kimba the White Lion, Voltes V, Lupin III, Sailor Moon, Doraemon, and others that I've managed to remember after scouring the Internet for anything that would help me refresh my childhood memories. I feel there are a few more I still can't remember, but I'm keeping an eye out for them. I was putting off anime for a while and came back after certain shows like Naruto reinvigorated my interest for it, and it seems like I'm back for good.
Favorite Genres & Bad Habits
Mecha was my go-to genre back in the day, but nowadays I'm hooked on comedy, action, and slice of life shows. I don't know, I love to laugh, and comedy is a genre that relieves me of my everyday stresses. Still, I don't mind getting into adventure or sci-fi mystery, and I sort of still have a soft spot for shounen. I was never big on horror/thriller, but I'm gradually starting to come around it.
As evidenced by this list, I tend to watch garbage shows just for my own sadomachistic entertainment. I usually don't have a problem with a little fanservice thrown in the mix or a dumb harem show now and again, but when people make crap like Eiken or any other ecchi shows like it, then it's just disgusting. And it's obviously made by idiots who--you know what, I'll stop right there.
Hobbies Other Than Anime
Video games is/are my favorite entertainment medium, so I tend to indulge myself in more gaming-related things than...well, anything else, really. But since this is a site strictly about anime, I'll keep this fairly short. I hang out in various gaming sites like GiantBomb, Backloggery, and Gamespot, so you can follow me there if you want to (or not). I also own a PS3, and if you actually feel like adding me, my PSN ID is mrxsnappy. Other systems I own include a PS2, Wii, DS, and some older platforms like the N64 and Gameboy Advance. I'm planning to buy a 360 in the future as well.
Occasionally, I'll write a review for anime or video games whenever I'm in the mood for it. I'm actually interested in becoming a site reviewer for AP, but at the same time, still on the fence about it for various reasons. I do have some experience as a writer; I published articles for a gaming website called NoobFeed for a couple of years.
I also listen to music. I don't really have a favorite genre at this point; I'll listen to pretty much anything these days. I'm also in a band, and I'm the drummer.
Any more questions you might have for me or if you want to say something just for the heck of it or want to be my friend, leave a comment below. It's okay, I don't bite.

No problemo, again :) Damn, that's a long time. I'm excited for it already! Haha, that'd be hilarious if the other actors point that out. I love fourth wall jokes. x) Anyway, have you been watching/liking anything lately?
No problemo, I enjoyed reading it. Thank YOU for putting a great amount of effort into making that review. :)
Oh my. I never knew they'd actually make a live-action adaptation.. and now I shall impatiently wait for its release. I love that 1 second where Lucius is "time-traveling" in the teaser. Funny how the actor isn't a Roman though, haha. Thanks for the link! ^^
Thanks for friending me!
