Alright, let's get one thing straight here. THIS is the best anime ever. Now, let's go over why that is. So, we start we a harem, right? WRONG. Chad MC says "no" and speedruns tsundere route. BAM. Got a girlfriend and the show isn't even halfway over. Dad tells him he can't become a knight? nah, he'd win. His wife get's assaulted during a hostage situation? He slices bullets in half and takes the bad guys hand as a prize (not in the gay marriage way, but literally dismembers the guy). Trans wrongs? nah, MC says trans rights. Nothing compares to this masterpiece of a story. But you can't have a... See full review
this show got far more hate than it deserved. is it good? eh. is it bad? no, not really. so, what makes this one so bad/good? let's start with the story. The story has a slower pace than a snail. And it's just your general Log Horizon rip-off with a gender-bender twist. Man decides to make a cute girl avatar as a joke, gets transported to the game world before being able to change his avatar back, man is now a cute girl. now, this could've been a pretty lousy story if that's where the writer's left the backstory. Instead of just getting Log Horizon with gender-bender twist, we get a whole first episode... See full review

The evil bad guys were going to be metaphorical representations of the evils that main character(s) either did, saw, or had happen to them. Then moe was forced with the added monster of the week format instantly killing the only good thing going for the show. The writers were obviously rushed (probably trying to come up with a new story on the spot due to studio interference) and had like, 2 recap episodes. And they were basically back-to-back. And... This is the first review I have decided to do. Not because this show is all that special, but because the other reviewers seem to have the wrong idea of the show. Let's start with the story (since that is easily the most interesting part, for the first half of the season). I've never seen a romcom go so heavy on manipulative characters like this. Most people seem to think that the "gimmick" of the show is the childhood friend constantly losing through-out. And that is my biggest problem with the misunderstanding of this show. The main "gimmick" is how just about every character... See full review
