With this being the second season of Kakegurui, the buildup was suspenseful. The plot presented was interesting, but the way they executed it could have been better. In the beginning, the story was steady and was going fine, but towards the end, the Batsubami arc felt rushed and unfinished. This could have been because it was being presented as completely original, as it wasn't a part in the manga. The characters all had the same feel as last season, and there was a small arc based around Mynyuda which showed some character development if you like that. The animations were pleasing to look at; I could tell that the art style had changed a little from the first season. I found each of the gambling scenes high quality and with new characters thrown into it, the presented the outcomes were unexpected. I am definitely anticipating a season three with just as much fascination.
