One of the these I enjoy most about this series is the way MaoMao actively avoids learning secrets. She has 3 things she likes: poisons, solving puzzles, and going home at the end of the day. She's who I aspire to be (sans the poison). This story could easily be set up as another "villain of the week" type detective show, but instead it takes its time. These small little puzzles start weaving together to show an underlying problem.  I'm excited to see where the anime goes with all of this and how it's going to adapt the manga, I think it would be better if the anime had a clearer...
