cheesestalker says... well for me i like MAL better i can see why its not that easy to use but it was the first anime site i used so i got familiar with it and stuck to it i mainly used hummingbird as my secondary site for a visual and community experience i like MAL for tracking its easier and fun for me i just hate the community at times MAL for me is just strictly using it for talking with friends or tracking my anime and manga thank you for your reply tho really appreciate it this site is fun though.
\r\nI do hope you get to spend more time here and get familiar with a-p as well. I think it's a great site, and I spend tons of time here - have met a lot of wonderful folks to share anime thoughts with! You may wish to consider creating a Forum account here. Definitely get involved in the Forum if you feel comfortable doing so.
\r\nThe forum is the real heart of communication on the site (you can send private messages to other members and can get involved with clubs and group activities). It's lively and fun there - lots of interaction with other members.
\r\nBut note that you'll need to create a separate forum registration ID - Recommended to use the same name as your site ID as the two areas are not yet merged (but that is coming sometime in the very near future as part of the site redesign). Just click on community link at the top of the page, and then choose Forum link from the dropdown menu.
\r\nFeel free to join some clubs or play some forum games as well - You'll definitely get to recognize and "know" other members and make friends on the site.

\r\nFunny, that. I have a MAL account, but I never use it. A-P seems so much friendlier and is certainly much easier to use! I only added a small amount of the anime I've watched to the MAL list, but it was so much harder to use I didn't do much with it...
