This is the the section where I put the most recent known female character I'd fall in love if it existed, this is NOT the woman I most like of all times (there's a list about that here, in serious need of an update btw). If I fall in love with another girl I'll change this(sorry previous waifus and sorry in advance future ones). Note to myself: maybe I should make a list with all the girls who graced my profile with their beautiful and lovely selves?

Basic Informations about me

tl;dr: I'm a brazilian eclectic anime fan, and have been appreciating it since around 1999/2000.

I'm a brazilian guy, happily married with a wonderful real life 3d waifu who also happens to love anime as much as myself (even more I'd say) =D

I've been in love with japanese animation style since around 1999/2000. Now, I'm not saying I'm some kind of expert, far from it, but my point here is: I've watched so many different shows on those past years, that I learnt to appreciate almost everything. Shoujo, shounen, seinen, drama, comedy, horror, action, ecchi, psychological, fantasy, etc. So with few exceptions, I can appreciate almost every genre, and I try my best to take the shows for what they are =)

Overview of my ratings:

tl;dr:

5.0: Masterpiece; 4.5:Excellent; 4.0: Very good; 3.5: Good; 3.0: Average; 2.5: Almost bad, but somehow enjoyable; 2.0: Bad; 1.5: really bad; 1.0: Awful, run from it; 0.5: Should stop the creators from ever working on an anime again; 0.0: I don't give this rating.

Here goes the meaning of my ratings. I try to get to the end of EVERY show I start, so with very few exceptions, even for the really bad ones, I only rate animes I watched to the end. Although for the most part my ratings reflect personal opinions and overall enjoyment, as I think having fun is the most important after all, there's a bit of a technical component to them too =)

5.0: I strongly believe there is no perfect anime. That being said, I give a 5(five) rating to animes I think are the best of their genre or I really, really liked them for some personal reason, and could not find any major flaws which would justify a minor rating. Maybe they bring back good childhood memories, I strongly identify myself with a character (male or female), they change my life in a significant and positive manner, or maybe all of these reasons together =)

4.5: Shows I really enjoyed myself watching but there's some kind of minor flaw to them: either the music is not that good, or there's some character (not the main one) I hate, or the animations looks strange to me. Either way, I still consider these the gems of their genre.

4.0: These are really good, enjoyed myself a lot while watching, have no major complaints and would recommend them.

3.5: Good overall, but either there's something in these ones that really dropped down the rating, like overused tropes, bad main characters, some major plot flaw, a really bad ending... Or they talk about something that I don't relate that much... But still, I managed to like it, and would recommend with caveats.

3.0: Good... But I don't know. I liked it, but these shows dont accomplish to go above average at maximum, or they weren't that fun for some reason.

2.5: Meh. Managed to enjoy... Some parts of it. Average overall, bad at times.

2.0: Bad, struggled to get to the end of these ones, but it was not THAT painful to finish.

1.5:Ok, from here on we get to the really bad ones. A pain in the ass to finish them, and the only reason these dont get an even minor rating is because there's something I liked a lot, even if the show is horrible overall. Some enjoyable character, good music, or maybe it has a theme I really like, even if the show throws it in the mud.

1.0: Terible, horrible, utter crap, avoid it at all costs! I dont even know how I finished these ones, if not only for the sense of duty I have to watch everything to the end! The only credit I give to these ones, is that they taught me how to better handle mental pain and stress. Luckily these ones are really rare.

0.5: Hate. There's no better word to describe what I feel for these shows. These are not even awful, but they somehow manage to achieve a new level of how low ANY piece of art can get. They were an exercise of my masochistic side and bad for so many reasons, I dont even know where to start. While I usually try to actively seek for something good in every show I watch, man this is even my philosophy for LIFE, for these ones I have to admit: I failed miserably to find ANYTHING remotely enjoyable and/or good.

0.0: I don't give 0 to anything (that would be my 0.5). If an anime isn't rated then I simply didn't get to the end of it OR I watched it a long time ago and don't remember well enough... But if that's the case, I'll eventually watch it again and rate it properly.

Mostly I don't write public reviews, as I prefer writing them in my mother language (brazilian portuguese). But despite that, feel free to ask my opinion on any anime I watched and I'll try my best to answer =)

To keep it simple I only give 3 different ratings for story/animation/sound/characters: 0.0, 5.0 or 10.0. Zero If I didn't like it, five if I overall liked it but not that much(so so), and ten If I really liked it. The overall rating is simply based on the anime rating, there's not ANY kind of math involved besides the automatic 2x multiplier.
