Masamune-kun's Revenge

Apr 29, 2021

//Spoilers present.// The set up was fantastic (for a harem anime)-- if the anime actually followed through, this definitely would have been a decent anime. Instead, nothing happens. The MC never reveals his true identity, the imposter is never called out, the true reason the girl "rejected" the MC is never revealed (it is implied but very unclear unless you google it), and MC doesn't enact his revenge. The pacing of the first episode implys that this will all be covered in a 12 episode season, then the pacing decends into constant fluff.  The best part is, this wasn't because the light... Redo of Healer

Mar 18, 2021

The anime switches back and forth from being a dark, adult show to a fun hentai. It could ether feel balanced or like whiplash to some. The storyline is interesting enough to not be a hinderence (at this point the hentai scenes feel more like a drawback). If you abhor torture porn (albiet it's pretty tame in this anime), don't touch this. -.-.- The only real issue I have with this show would be the gay characters (as in they are written badly, not that diverse representation is bad). It just kinda seems homophobic- the hetero MC and his gangle of women beat up the comically... See full review

Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 2

Oct 2, 2020

I enjoyed season 2 of Re:Zero a lot, probably because I only watched one episode per week. Had I watched the season in one sitting, I most likely would have written it off as too much exposition dump and not enough action. They had so much exposition, the opening and ending had to be removed from most of the episodes. Compared to season 1, season 2 sets up the world, stakes for this save point, and explore's the nature of the MC's return from death power a lot better/ in more depth.  The only issue (besides being exposition heavy) is that this half of the season was left... BanG Dream!

Sep 14, 2020

If you like band animes, you might like this one. It's probably best not to watch this show if you came from the game. The show is a dragged out version of the game story. The game's story takes around 2 hours to read (if you wait for the voices), while the anime takes about 4 hours to watch. If the animation was more interesting then it would have been worth watching. However, the animation is not much of a step up from the animated stills in the game. Poppin' Party is the most boring band in Bandori, so if you didn't enjoy the anime, don't disregard the game. It's pretty fun. (and you... See full review

Future Diary

Mar 8, 2020

Short summery: Future Diary is a waste of time. Go watch it if you like hot pink OP Yandere. Do not watch it if you enjoy psychological manipulation. Besides maybe two (weak) instances, the manipulation only garners reactions such as "How did he fall for that again" and "Why did that work". Not a romance, shounen, or psychological anime. I suppose it's a mindless action anime. Could be viewed with friends as a comedy... I wish I had friends. . (Spoilers ahead) Long, rambly summery: Future Diary is about selfish, bland, asshole Yukiteru "Yukki" Amano, a self induced... See full review
