This anime can best be described as 'They wanted to make 3 different anime and so made 1 that was all 3'

There's the idol part, the 'teaching robots to love' part, and 'robots v humans as an unsubtle and iffy metaphor for racism'.

Somehow it works well enough together to make a decent story that made me laugh and cry and have warm fuzzy feelings throughout. The music is fantastic as expected for an idol anime, the characters are entertaining and fun, and all in all this is a very entertaining yet batshit anime.
