Story:

What story? In a movie short that is cut into tiny shorts and shared together? Yeah right! Anyways, if you ever wanted to sit down and see some old animation thats shows many different ways to die. This is a good place to start. There is no story but it is amusing if viewed in the correct way. Any longer and it would have gotten boring.

There is one part I do need to mention about the story though. At the very beginning I wasn't sure I was going to like it cause for quite a long sequence we see a man running with a knife and the animation being what it was back then the fact that it went on for so long was pretty dull but in hind sight I was able to appreciate it because although it was a knife instead of scissors I realized that the "Running with Scissors" Indie x-box 360 game was super similar (it's a stupid mindless type of 2D game but it's also funny as well).

Animation:

You get what you expect for such a old movie... in fact compared to the 4 other shorts I watched this one may actually be the best made. Still if you're looking for good animation your going to want to go with something newer.

Sound:

This is whats funny about these old anime at least the ones I saw. The sound is horrible but there is no need to read traslations you can understand everything. The sounds are just that for the most part... sounds. The quality is low but that is because we are all spoiled by current technology.

Characters:

Well there are tons of characters but... none of them stay alive long enough to discern anything about them... even their names. It's just a multitude of death and suicide in different ways with different people.

Overall:

If you're looking for old shorts you should try this one out. Despite it's flaws it's funny and unique. Plus if you end up not caring for it. It's so short it doesn't really matter.
