This anime has no real excuse for how bad the animation is. I really like this story but they butchered it. I mean badly. The walking the eating and drinking. The way the characters look. It's all horrible. I cannot continue to watch it because it hurts my eyes.

This anime has such horrible animation in the beginning that it seemed as though they cut out a picture of a car and pasted a popsicle stick on the bottom of it then they made a background image and video taped the car moving across the scene on a popsicle stick... seriously it was that bad in a couple parts. 

I ended up liking the show but the animation especially in those parts was bottom of the barrel.

Gungrave is one of my favorite shows. However, even though I love it, I still have to acknowledge it's crappy animation. Originally I thought it was because it was a older anime but in reality it's not all that old. Compared to others released in a similar time, the animation is pretty low quality. It uses pictures in some places for christ sake and tilts them in a way you could do if you were making a slideshow with windows movie maker. Seriously my 10 year old could do a better job animating some of it.

That being said even with some of the horrible animation. It does have some good parts just like with gangsta. It's not evenly animated. 

I love this anime don't get me wrong and it is leaps and bounds better than the OVA's in most respects. The only real issue here is that the fights are not great because of the animation issues. It feels like Gut's sword only has 2 ways it can move for the most part with very little exceptions. I know this anime is old but if you look at the animation available during that year you would realize that there was better animation out there.

The animation is pretty bad on this one especially with vehicles just like Tokko. It's oldish though so I am inclined to not judge it as harshly.

This one had a lot of people complaining about the animation from early on and I didn't feel it was that bad... I had seen much worse... that is until I got to the part where the investigator who had part of his face bitten off glided across the screen in the background during his last fight with Black Dog. That was the biggest part I could not forgive animation wise out of Tokyo Ghoul. 

The thing about the animation here is that in some places it is excellent. In other places it's horrible. Especially while characters are not fighting. The anime leaves a lot to be desired in just ordinary actions such as walking.

For instance when Nic is walking to Dr. Theo's office with the little girl the way his head tilts with each step irritates me. These irritations are pretty easy to get past they are all extremely small minor things and since they do extremely well with some of the fights, This title would be near the bottom of the list. 

The part that really stood out for me in this spicific animation was when Guts fights the 100 men that one night. I'm not going to comment on the dance party or things that made me hate this episode more than any other berserk OVA because it's not about that. Anyone who watches the 100 man fight will feel that many of the movements are kinda off.

New addition: This one barely needs to be put on the list when you think of anime screw ups... Berserk goes from Bad to worse. I wonder if their intent was to make the Movies look like works of art... if that is the case they succeed by creating this Berserk Anime. The Animation is crap all the way though. The only anime that has worse animation on this list is Tokko but maybe because it's not as well known and low budget it's got some leway. What's this one's excuse?
