Hey! thank you for letting me know how my review was. I really appreciate it and I take your critisizm seriously. I suppose I should elaborate on "animation", because you are right, the backgrounds were beautiful. When I think "animation" I think about the motion and the moving parts, but yes there were many beautiful scenes. They were perfect for the time period of the anime
Ive actually been looking for an anime with a similar setting for that reason.

I am not the only person in the world who thought it was amazing and perfect.
Each individual has their own opinion and I am happy with that.
I may think it is flawless and others may think it has many flaws.

let's just say that I watched HOTD in a room with threater surround sound, that insane adrenaline rush it gave, that and the very fact there aren't many zombie themed animes around...
