I'm going to break my usual review format because I havem't done one in a while, and I want to be more direct. I liked this anime and binge-watched it over about 2 days. I would recommend it.

Okay, okay, I'll go a bit more in depth. The storyline is interesting, particularly thanks to the contrast of our 2 main characters. Ryuu and Urara have good chemistry, though some of the other secondary characters are inconsistent in their role towards the story. 

Speaking of inconsistent, I like how a new witch is introduced every episode. It gives something to anticipate for the future episodes, considering we know nothing about them. What are they like? However, this is also a detriment as some of the latter witches we don't get much of a backstory outside of a simple recap. Some we just see their superficial personalities. And after the episode devoted to them they don't get much screen time.

Outside of that though, I enjoyed it. If there were a part 2 I'd watch it, though I highly doubt there will be one.
