I didn't care for this story. It felt mediocre to start with. It showed promise with a great twist, but the storytelling didn't improve after the twist. I was completely disappointed with the ending. It has a happy ending, but the drama leading up to the end wasn't satisfying. It came out of left field. A better plot scenario would have improved the ending. 

SPOILER: I wrote the above piece trying to not spoil the story, so it reads very vague. The good plot twist is that the guy has HIV. It's unique and adds depth to the story, but it wasn't handled well. So much more could have been done with it. I'm not happy with the life and death situation at the end being the result of a stabbing. The story center's around his sickness and it's a stabbing that puts his life in danger? I would have accepted him catching a sickness as a result of his weakened immune system much more. 

There's also random financial advice sprinkled throughout the story which is annoying. I'm not sure how much of it can be applied to real-life, but I found it a burden in the story. I skipped over the dialogue when they were just talking about finances.
