Kochou no Yumeji Review

Story

The story of this so amazing manga is just one of the best that I have ever encountered, not speaking out of bias, but reality. The story has a slow, nice pace where nothing feels rushed and keeps you yearning for more and more. The story follows a girl who was on the brink of death but was revived by an ayakashi using the "forbidden art" which I am not going to spoil for you what it is, but its not something cheesy and so worth the read. It follows her need to be wanted and how she ends up making many memories and people she cherishes whom share their stories as well. Additionally, the story is set in the ayakashi world where you get to learn a bit on Japanese mythology and see the creativity of this super-talented author. Just read it for yourself, I can't say anything as it will spoil it all!!

Art

THE ART IS MAGNIFICENT, BEAUTIFUL and BREATHTAKING. this is a manga that is drawn out beautifully and on top of that is fully coloured. When do you ever see that in a MANGA? This is not a webtoon I assure you. Just look at the first chapter of the manga and you will be able to see how beautiful it is, and on top of that the art keeps on improving more and more as well even though it already is wonderful! 

Characters

One of the many important things to be entranced in a manga/anime is character development. I assure you this manga's focus is actual character development. Many characters change, grow as they stumble upon their past, present and future. Just read it for yourself ;). 

Overall

I'm in love with this manga because it took my breath away. I myself am superrr pickky with everything, especially mangas and anime as to me plot, character development, the mix of emotions you feel throughout the series and art are all super important factors for a successful manga. It is a very underrated manga that I believe deserves so much more attention than it has.
