Im almost caught up to everything that’s translated, and have mixed feelings about manwha.

I like that there’s a female MC who isn’t relegated to being the love interest of every guy in the story, and overall the story feels heartwarming with pleasant emotional payoffs. Also it has 140+ translated chapters, that matters.

Complaint wise. I realize this isn’t supposed to be an action manwha but the action scenes that are shown are painfully unexciting and boring. People will be using magic and swinging swords while just standing there expressionless but yelling in speech bubbles. It’s unsettling.

Things are also poorly explained. I thought this may have been an attempt to add suspense by telling us later but after reading further it’s just due to the author neglecting to include proper explanations.

Reasoning for actions also conveniently changes throughout the story (earlier on a persons testimony means nothing in a trial against a noble but later on someone’s testimony is enough evidence to arrest royalty. Makes sense). There’s also the issue of the MC’s “strongest magic” only being effective one time in the whole story so far. One time. Every other time she uses her magic she doesn’t accomplish a good outcome because she stops/suddenly goes brain dead and lets people run away. This is also a problem with fights in general, people are constantly cornered/on the ground at the feet of a much stronger foe and then one panel later suddenly they’re running away and escape, “darn he escaped!”. Seriously? Did you take a nap in between panels?

I may have listed more cons than pros but I still think it’s a story worth reading. Even with the aggravating issues from above it’s still an over-all feel good story that makes you feel like good prevailed.
