this show is a mess, and is extremely confusing. the main protagonist is fucking stupid, she lost the love of her life? it's so disorienting. i wish the story was easier to understand because this show had so much potential. the opening song is so good, and the animatio and sound are quite nice, but it just gets absolutely ruined when you throw in all these characters and plot holes.

honestly i was really enjoying it, and i'm a fan of the late satoshi kon's work, but paranoia agent just really started to confuse me near the end, and now i don't really have the drive to finish it, despite having one episode left. it's a bit boring, and it felt sort of lie a chore to finish out. i can still respect the story and the artwork, it's just not for me and moves a bit too slow. the characters don't have a lot of depth to them, which causes the show to fall short. i do however really enjoy the artwork and the overall "aesthetic" of the show.

god, where to start? it was really strong in the beginning, shit was really interesting. then it fell short, i grew annoyed of shiemi extremely quickly, and overall the show just became a chore to watch and enjoy. nonetheless the animation is pretty good and so is the sound.

easily one of the best (and favourite) anime's i have ever watched. extremely cute characters like calcifer and turniphead, gorgeous animation, and beautiful music. the concept is brilliant and the final execution is fucking amazing. would reccomend this movie to anyone, even non anime watchers.
