So, here's a list of anime recs that I think you'll like :)
Air - (dub option) (13 eps)
Angel Beats - (dub option) (13 eps)
Akagami no Shirayukihime (English Title: Snow White with the Red Hair) - (Dub in progress. Finishes by Jan. 22) Great one! Currently has 12 eps but it is getting a second season!
Aishiteruze Baby - (Animation is not that great, but story is worth the watch) (Sub only) (26 eps)
Anohana - (Major tearjerker!) (Sub only) (11 eps)
Azumanga Daioh - (Cute and funny!) (Fantastic English dub) (26 eps) Azumanga -The Very Short Movie is also worth a watch. (By short, they mean it- less than 10 mins). I recommend watching that before the show if you want to test it out :) I think it has a dub but i'm not sure.
Bartender - (Kind of slow, but very beautiful. This is one to watch when you're wanting to relax :) (Sub only) (11 eps)
Beyond the Boundary - (some flaws but the animation is gorgeous!) (I know it has a dub, but I'm not sure if it's released yet) (12 eps)
Clannad & its second season Clannad- After Story (Awesome animation and very unique in that it tells the life of the characters after high school) MAJOR TEARJERKER. (Dub option) (Both seasons combined is 47 eps)
Danganronpa -the Animation (Extremely cheesy but I enjoyed it. (dub option) (13 eps)
Death Parade (Pretty dark, don't let the opening fool you- although the opening is very catchy! (Fantastic dub) (12 eps)
D.N.Angel (English dub option) (26 eps)
Eve no Jikan (Sub only) (6 eps) This is a great short series. The animation is beyond beautiful!
Free! Iwatobi Swim Club & its second season Free! Eternal Summer (You know how much I love this one! This is the only one where I'll say stick to the sub, the dub is....ugh). It's not really the the actors fault, it's more the script (although Haruka is severely miscast). Only watch the dub after you've seen the sub. (With both seasons - 25 eps) HOWEVER, there is a bonus episode for Eternal Summer that I highly recommend. Goofy fun with water guns!
Fruits Basket (An anime classic!) This one is my sister's favorite. (Dub option) (26 eps)
Gakuen Alice (Alice Academy) (sub only) (26 eps)
Ghost Hound (This one takes awhile to get really good, but I still say its worth a watch) (Dub option) (22 eps)
Ghost Hunt (Dub option) (25 eps)
Haibane Renmei (The setting is extremely interesting in this one.) (Dub option) (13 eps)
Haikyuu!! (A hysterical sports anime. Second season is ongoing, so it'll be more than 25 eps) (sub only)
Hetalia: Axis Powers, Hetalia: Word Series, Hetalia: The Beautiful World, & Hetalia: The World Twinkle - Lots of seasons (in that order), but only five mins per episode. (Dub option). (135 eps)
Hyouka: You Can't Escape (Sub only) (22 eps)
Inuyasha & its closure season Inuyasha the Final Act (Dub option) (193 eps)
Kanon (2006) - (The 2006 is important! There are two versions, and the first one has awful animation. Make sure its the 2006 version.) (Dub option) (24 eps)
Kuroshitsuji, Kuroshitsuji 2, and Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus (Black Butler) - The second season is pretty terrible and can be skipped if you wish. This is kind of a werid one, but I'll explain what happened. Black Butler Season 1 started off by following the manga, but then went off and did its own thing about half-way through. Season 2 continues as normal, after the ending of Season 1. Season 3 however ignores the endings of season 1 and 2, as well as the part where Season 1 stopped following the manga. It starts I believe after the midway point in season 1. Nevertheless, the first and third seasons are good and you may watch it however you wish. (Dub option but I don't know if the third season is dubbed yet) (All together - 46 eps)
Lucky Star (Another classic) - (Dub option) (24 eps)
Natsume Yuujinchou, Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou, Natsume Yuujinchou San, & Natsume Yuujinchou Shi - My all time favorite series. Words can not describe how great this anime is. It's a major tearjerker though. (Sub only) (All seasons combined - 52 eps)

Ookami-san and Her Seven Companions - (Dub option) (12 eps)
Orenchi no Furo Jijou - (This is another where there is only five mins per ep.) (Sub only) (13 eps)
Princess Tutu - Another great one that you've heard me go on and on about lol! (Dub option) (26 eps)
Romeo x Juliet (It does NOT adhere to the original story. But it's still amazing! This one takes a more fantasy approach) (Dub option, and better than the sub 0_0 That rarely happens!) (24 eps)
School-Live! (Jap. Title: Gakkou Gurashi!) (Not too different from the manga) (this one will surprise you in how good it is!) (Sub only) (12 eps)
Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi & its second season Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi 2 - If you love yaoi, you'll love this! (Sub only) (All together- 24 eps)
Shiki - (Very dark.) (Dub option) (22 eps)
Soul Eater (Dub option) (51 eps)
Tonari no Kaibutsu-Kun (English Title: My Little Monster) - (Sub only) (13 eps)
Tonari no Seki-Kun (only seven mins per ep) (Sub only) (21 eps)
Tsuritama (this is one is just plain good fun! One of the best climaxes as well!) (Sub only) (12 eps)
Usagi Drop (Another gem!) (Sub only) (11 eps)
Vampire Knight & its second season Vampire Knight: Guilty (Dub option, but trust me, you want to watch it in sub. The dub is awful! Yuki cannot deliver her lines convincingly and neither can Kaname) (All together - 26 eps)
Wakakao-Zake - Surprisingly great! Only 2 mins per ep. (Sub only) (12 eps)
Watamote - This one is really going to depend on your tastes. I personally liked it but it's so cringe-worthy. (Dub option) (12 eps)
xxxHolic & its second season xxxHolic Kei (Dub option ONLY for the first season. Second season never got dubbed) (All together - 37 eps)
