I get like that! When I first started watching 11 ongoing series of seasonal anime it got really tough cause all the stories fel broken whereas watching 12 episodes in one go made it feel complete, which made me drop and stall a lot of anime but now I can deal with it just fine if the series is really good. I normally wait for ongoing to get a few episodes like 3 or 5 then watch them in one go it really helps. I still need to finish Pycho Pass :/
You're welcome! And yep I love those two things in anime. Nothing beats character development, watching them grow strong both physically and mentally is just amazing, feels like you grow with the series.

I don't mind ongoing actually, something to look forward to but the wait is a killer sometimes :p
If HxH doesn't surprise you nothing will. Trust me HxH is one of those anime that just has a brilliantly told story it has such a sense of realism from the characters. Like in most anime the good guy will never do things out of hatred or spite but here some characters may do things like that just like any normal person would.
I miss doing anime marathons! :( Why was it getting lonely? Well if you have skype I'd add you on there, I'm quite the chatty person I guess haha! :D
Just busy cause of work and college BUT I have the next two days off from both so I'm going to relax, watch anime and play some games! :D
