I was really surprised by this manga!! It doesn't seem to be super popular and I only "bumped" into it on random. I actually found the anime version first but when I found out it was based on this manga (which was based on a novel but eh, short attention span and whatnot...) I couldn't bring myself to stay away.

It's extremely well developed and I love the story, even though I find it a little slow-paced (although let's be honest most manga is), it's still definitely one of the best I've read so far. The characters are so realistic and perfectly flawed that it's easily made me fall in love with them basically instantly. And I don't think I need to say anything about the art, it's absolutely breathtaking so I'll leave it at that.
