While the anime "Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet" a.k.a. "Boarding School Juliet" is a romance story similar in some ways to the classic Romeo and Juliet, it is not a completely sad story, being more about how you meet obstacles in life and it can be entirely up to you and the effort you put in overcoming them. Story & Characters The story is about a guy Romio INUZUKA, belonging to the "Black Dogs" faction, who was secretly admiring a girl Juliet PERSIA, belonging to the "White Cats" faction. As their factions are rivals, he was never able to express his feelings... See full review
The anime Knights & Magic is based on a light novel, and given that I didn't read the novel I can't express myself about it in any way, nor can I say if it's the production's fault, or if this is how the story was depicted there as well. However, what I can say is that I had expectations when I started watching this anime, and it didn't meet them from the first episode. I hear the manga is better, so I would recommend you to go there instead of watching this. Story Knights & Magic starts off by briefly presenting a guy as a "genius programmer" in just a few lines which I... See full review
Douluo Dalu, a.k.a. Soul Land is an adaptation of the chinese manhua / novel that has the same name. Since I didn't read the novel entirely, I can't say which one the animation follows after more closely, however, I can say that it has differences from the manhua not only by leaving details out, but by changing some parts of the story and character appearances as well. Story The story follows a young disciple of the Tang Sect who dedicated his life to studying and practicing their techniques, however, by learning some secrets which he was not supposed to, he decides to repent with his life. However, his... See full review
So basically, this move is just the summary of the Beyond the Boundary TV series (aired in 2013), probably made for those who didn't watch the TV version so they can get a fast ideea about what the anime is about before watching the Mirai-hen movie. If you already saw the TV series you can skip it and jump directly into Beyond the Boundary Movie: I'll Be Here - Mirai-hen, which is the continuation of the TV version. If you didn't watch the TV... This review is a personal opinion and it should be treated as such. Neppu Kairiku Bushi Road started off with an interesting premise, but at some point the anime just seemed rushed which kind of ruined it. Animation On the visual side the animation is nicely done, the colors blending well together giving the right mood to the scenes, but on the action side it could've been done better because some scenes feel too slow for no real reason. Audio The soundtrack selection could've been improved quite a bit to bring out more feelings to the surface, but in the end it worked out. Not entirely the audio's... See full review
This is a personal opinion and it should be treated as such.
Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches or Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo doesn't bring anything new to the table from the wide variety of anime, but it sure was enjoying to watch until the end and it stood out from the latest releases with the way the characters behaved.
The animation looks really well, the characters and backgrounds being nicely drawn and the colors blending well together, althought it kind of bothered me the drawing style of Toranosuke... See full review
This is a personal opinion and it should be treated as such. Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei no Kyoukan or Sky Wizards Academy had quite a promising start, but somehow it lost it's sparkle shortly after. Animation As far as the visual side goes it looks decent, the contrast between colors is fairly good, the characters and backgrounds being drawn pretty nicely and I don't really have what to complain about it. I would give it a 7.5 or around that. However, I think because of the bad execution, the animation of the action scenes don't really bring out the whole potential, and sometimes they kind of feel... This review is a personal opinion and it should be treated as such. Another had a farily interesting start which for a mistery/horor/psychology type of anime imediately got me thinking of all the possible directions it could take, but as the anime progressed it kind of threw away that potential and it kind of disappointed me. Let's start with the animation: On the visual side I must say that it looks quite good. The colors are fine if you take them for each object, background and character, but when you put everything together you don't quite get the mistery/horor theme. Sometimes they do get them...
