Unintentional Love Story
Nov 13, 2021Do you ever just feel like your reading the same story with the same characters over and over again? No hate on this story in particular I liked it, it's just that I went in with a certain expectation of what the story was and it was wrong. No matter what the original situation I just seems like all romance story's are devolve back into the bundle of clichés by the end. I liked this story but I liked it for the same EXACT reason I like 50 other romance stories both straight and BL and inevitably that lead me to being a bit...bored. There, I said it. The beginning was interesting and the drama was cool and all, but I've seen it all a hundred times before and this one certainly didn't bring an ounce of originality again.
Also can we please just let the 'honest, pure and innocent' feminine caricature die? It's over done and unrealistic. Plenty of people fall in love and get laid ever day and their nothing like that.

This is exactly how I feel. I started reading romance stories and ended up reading so many that everything started to look the same at some point. This lead me to grow absolutely bored by them. Now I avoid romance story like a plague because they feel so boring with the same formula again and again 😔. Now I'm reading BL and it too has become extremely repetitive, nothing feels new and refreshing. That's why I am always looking for fresh new stories with interesting characters and plots that break the norm.
