I commented about this manga a few times before, we briefly talked about how much we hated it when she calls him father. I decided to pick it up again because I was bored and to my surprise the fl stops calling him father because he asked her not to. After that happens she still acts kind of ditz but in a more intelligent(?) way, I definitely would not call her a strong female lead but she gradually becomes less annoying and more cute, the same goes for her and the ml's interactions, they go from weird second hand embarrassment to kinda cute. I still don't think it's perfect or necessarily "worth" reading but I'd say it's fine and more or less endearing. Another thing I noticed was that the while the fl is weak she's not constantly needing to be saved every other chapter nor is she a perfectly healthy person who faints all the time, from my understanding she isn't sickly but she's not healthy either. In fact a little later on she realizes that she might die of a terminal illness in like 5 years; which can be avoided but I'm not gonna say how in case you decide to read it more. I do agree that it often shows other female characters that are good looking and sometimes are prettier than the fl but I wouldn't say that she pales in comparison. I actually like her design but everyone has their own opinion so to each their own. If you were curious about it or you want to read more after reading this than I think you could give it another chance, but if your not even vaguely interested I wouldn't waste your time. I only picked it back up because I was bored and liked the art style, I also have some what of a tolerance for                                                     ( some only some ) shojo bull sh!t.
