Warning this Review May Contain Spoilers:

'As Miss Beelzebub Likes' is a cute little series that follows the daily life of Miss Beelzebub and her assistant, Mullin. Going into this series I didn't have very high expectations and was only wanting to watch it for something light and fluffy, and let's just say it reach that expectation of being light and fluffy very early on.

STORY
The series heavily relied on short cute and funny segments with a slowly developing romance subplot between multiple of the characters. Even though this subplot didn't develop as much as some may hope, it was a nice addition to the show. Most episodes followed this format, which meant any story that the show had was very limited, I personally wouldn't recommend to people who are looking for a drama filled narrative or even people who are looking for a set narrative in general as this show has none. Saying that though, I don't think this style of series would have worked as well if it was laid out in a different way, these short comedic segments featuring the interactions between characters are what made this show work.

ANIMATION
The colour palette of the show is absolutely gorgeous, with bright colours to amplify the cute and fluffy nature of the show and its characters. The show heavily relied on the colours rather than the animation itself as the majority of the scenes simply involved people just stood around talking, if the show had a duller colour palette I don't think it would have matched the show's storyline as well. It aims to be cute, the studio has managed to capture this perfectly.

SOUND
Va's fitted the characters well, having Aoi Yuuki voicing Dantalion was a great choice for him, but there's not much else to say in that section. The opening and ending were cute, a bit generic but I didn't expect any more for a show like this.

CHARACTERS
Adorable. The relationship between each and every character was fun to watch and made it so I enjoyed it a lot more. Although the whole Hell being good (ish) trope has happened before in a few anime/manga, I feel like having a range of characters like there was in this show really helped it out.

Overall, very cute. Very fluffy. Recommended to those who just want something light to watch.
