Warning: this manhwa has a weak female lead. If you like strong female leads who speak up for themselves, you will not like Ara.
It's from 2009, and you can tell because it hasn't aged well. Lots of fat shaming, misogyny and ageism. I mean she isn't even fat but everyone talks as if she's a whale. The love interest is awesome bordering on too perfect. It's rather hard to understand why he falls for the wimpy MC, but hey, it's a romance webtoon.

fave characters: Woori, her awesome and clever little brother, Mira, the amazingly ruthless and cunning older sister and Junhyung, Joon's shrewd band mate.

It's a good story but I can't understand WHY it's so embarrassing that she's a fangirl. She's super successful and what she does in her free time shouldn't matter that much. I mean, fans basically run Korea's entertainment industry and boost the country's economy so why should they feel ashamed. I guess it's mostly because of Korea's conservative ageism. After 30 you should focus on marriage and family, especially if you're a woman. Pretty hard to stomach only a decade later, but still holds true in a lot of ways unfortunately.

TLDR; Entertaining romance webtoon about two successful career people, kpop and Korean food. Not too much drama, but that mother, UGH. Is it just me or are Korean mothers always either evil ahjummas or dead saints.

The art is nice but with some weirdly long legs and arms, and the colouring is often off with even main characters changing eye and hair colours often.

7/10 story
7/10 art
6/10 characters
6/10 overall

Agreed the FL was rather weak but I didn't appreciate how there was body shaming references or marriage pressure from the mother to push her down. Also I adored her siblings tho, her sister man was so clever!
