It's honestly not terrible, the problem is that I watched the live-action version first. If I hadn't done so, maybe I would've liked this slightly more, but if you want a real story, the live-action can be found on Netflix containing two seasons.

This review will contain spoilers for My Hero Academia My Hero Academia is a show that lots have said failed to live up to the hype. After the completion of season 5, most even went as far as to bash it. The arrival of season 6 gives My Hero Academia a chance to redeem itself. This current season starts strong. It gets right into the fighting. With the manga being as popular as it is, everyone already knew what to expect from this season. As someone who has yet to read the manga, it's pretty good. Story-wise it has its downfalls. The show tries to follow Yaguchi as he realizes what painting is about and he needs to realize that he needs to understand people more to paint them better. The show is unable to give us a view of anyone but Yaguchi and Yuka. Mori barely shows up considering how important she was to the beginning of the plot. I love how the characters feel real emotions for people in their situations. It's not just hiding emotions and playing it off as though nothing happened. The characters try to enjoy themselves before they have to face their unfortunate situations all over again. SPOILERS! Nao, for example, his emotional abuse caused him to do things he never would've done otherwise. 

I really loved how they displayed the friendship between the characters. They had backstories and reasons for the way they are. I wasn't really a fan of all the experimentation parts like with Jyuugo or Musashi. Although I really liked how Musashi got a chance to share his backstory, and how he slowly grew closer to Jyuugo.
