Hi Xairyan! I know, I've already responded, but I had a busy weekend and thought i'd share! :) (I'm evil I know haha)
On Thursday, after summer school, i went ice skating with my brother and our shared friends. I was a figure skater for some time before the pandemic (have I ever mentioned that?) well, I played hockey as well, but I hadn't skated in years and was quite nervous per say, of realizing I didn't have my skills(?) anymore. Thankfully, I picked it up after a couple of minutes :) Also, there was this little girl who kept holding my hand as we skated, which would've been cute and all but 1.) I didn't know her, and didn't want to make it look like I was kidnapping her or something, 2.) she kept calling my friends various swear words, like, very bad curse words that, out of a nine year old's mouth, was challenging to ignore. We had dinner at Ruby's thereafter, (everyone but me was pretty bad at skating, feels offensive and arrogant to oneself but they said it first, anyways they didn't wish to skate anymore).
On Friday, I woke up, bright and early to visit my grandma. She'd been wanting me to get my ears pierced...think. Needle gun. Hurts. Lots of work so you don't get an infection. But I got my ears pierced anyway, (it feels weird talking about this because no one cares), didn't really want to but my mom decided things for me haha >u< It didn't hurt, just a pinch. Anyway, the real reason why I'm talking about this is because I thought they took off a piece of your ear, like a circle of cartilage, and gave it to you, or had a basket full of small circles of ear...this sounds so gross but i REALLY thought that was the case!!!!! I was waiting for it as well, my souveiner per say from Claires-my circle of ear, and it never arrived :(
On Saturday-didn't do much, practiced guitar, walked dog, laundry, cleaned up, homework (curses >o<)
On Sunday (which is today), I went to a friend's birthday party. It was quite fun! Everything was decorated like a british tea party...am I offending you? BUT there were little cream cheese (vegan) and cucumber sandwiches, as well as other varieties of sandwiches, on platters, deviled eggs that were shaped like flowers, little vegan meatballs with fancy skewers holding bowtie pasta, and tiered macarons for dessert, (so more like french?)
Also, I've learned Big Yellow Taxi Cab by Joni Mitchell on guitar and it's so much fun! As well as Santana, Journey songs, (Any way you want it and Seperate ways, (worlds apart)), Angels of the morning by Juice Newton, We're not going to take it by twisted sisters, and others! Those are my newest songs tho :> Any guitar central songs you recommend for me to learn? Also I've been singing these songs (which is already a bad idea), but my voice is getting better (it wasn't good before though, so more like-it's become less out of tune), so that's nice. :)
I've had to write a newspaper editorial for homework, and i'm sitting here wondering if I should redo it....hmmm
Anyway, have fun replying to all of this! I'll probably be even more evil and leave another comment post weekend >:)
