If you are looking for a funny and warm anime with lot of cuteness and cute characters, then this is a must watch. The theme is more focused on the characters in the music club and their daily lives and school life than actual music itself. The cuteness of the characters and their comedic interactions is what makes this unique and memorable. Needless to say, the inclusion of music makes it all that more appealing.

It is hard to describe exactly what makes this so appealing in terms of the characters, but is is the cominbation that brings it together. You have Mio who is the cute and serious leader with some funny issues, a hyper and devious Ritsu who likes to tease the others, Tsumugi who is the silent but rich girl supporting most of the funding, and Yui who is the lazy but cute airhead. A bit further in comes one of the most popular characters, Azu-nyan, the extremely cute and adorable one. We can't forget about thier teacher advisor that loves to dress the girls into embarassing outfits. While individually this all doesn't super unique, it is the combination of their dialogue, interaction, and friendship that makes the group so memorable and really enjoyable to watch.  Laughs are guaranteed and you will most likely find happiness along with it warming your heart. 

The characters are the most important aspect versus the story. The story is pretty simplistic and time flows quickly from one seasonal event to the next. It is exactly what you would expect, the girls go through their school life with the main focus being on their club activities and pulling through things together as a very odd, funny, and cohesive group.

Overall, if you are simply looking for a fun anime that is cute, funny, has cute characters, and not to be taken serious, definitely watch this, it has turned into one of my favorite anime. The slight lack of musical focus is the only reason for a .5 point deduction.
