Light Comedy Anime

Anime that is tagged as "Comedy", but it is not a constant or dominant aspect. Humor may be incorporated in, but tends to be more casual or subtle. If you were considering these Anime mostly due to the comedy tag, you may come away a bit disappointed due to the lack of it. This is the opposite of my "Comedy Heavy Anime" list, there you will find Anime like Gintama, or others that focus mostly on prioritizing in making the viewer laugh. Only Anime & Movies go on this list, no OVA's or Specials.

15		Gintama. Gintama is very funny, but this season focused heavily on a serious story, foregoing a lot of the strong comedy aspect prior seasons offered, and making it far more casual in terms of humor.
16		Hinamatsuri While the first 5-6 episodes are pretty funny, the remaining half of the anime focuses on a more serious and story oriented approach, with ocassional comedy. I have therefore placed Hinamatsuri on the light comedy list, rather than dominant comedy list, as there are a lot of other quality offerings, and making you laugh wasn't the primary focus throughout the entire anime
