Thanks for the recommendations, i've put them all on my want to read list and will check them out as i have time. Tbh i'm a bit wary of too much ongoing series, it always feels to me like waiting 2-3 months just to read another 30 - 60 minutes only to forget most stuff in between isn't that great. Maybe that's because i've also got no one to talk about stuff that would release weekly. Most of the time i rather like binging completed series. How about you ? You got a lot of ongoing series on your list, seems you like to read differently ;)
One per day is quite something, though ofc depending on manga length. When i do read, with manga it's most of the time one volume per 'session' (or around 10 chapters if newer) or maybe 2 volumes if there is a lot of fighting going on and chapters are short (eg Dragon Ball). With Manhwa it depends, usually until my eyes start scrolling up by themselves hahaha.
I guess i'm just an overall slow-ish reader. Though i too experienced getting better at reading english (not my native language) and getting a bit faster like you mentioned. At some point i started reading books only in english (if that's the og language), overall cheaper (back in 2012 or so, i bought the Game of Thrones books for 25 EUR, translated in my native language it would have been 150 EUR) and helping to maintain english skills.
Yeah sure, give me a recommendation. My manga list here on AP should be public, take a look, maybe you know of something i would enjoy :) or if you wanna talk about a series we've both read, feel also free to start a conversation.
Hey, thanks for the follow, i'll follow back ofc (although i never check the feed, so it's not to usefull...... nevermind :D)
Yeah, i experienced the same after quitting. You suddenly have a lot of time at your hand (probably more than you'd expected) and need to find something new. For me it was also youtube, but a lot of gaming too. Which i am trying to quit now too. Want to do something more useful, like learning something new, reading books, working out, going outside more. Though anime and manga aren't bad either.
I'm really impressed at your manga/manhwa library. I'm trying to read more but look at my measly 34 read titles hahaha.
