When you want something serious to watch

This list will include anime with a more "serious" tone and at least a decent plot lol. If you have something that belongs on the list, write it in the comment section and if I have seen it and I agree with adding it (I only add anime I've seen on all my lists.). If I haven't seen it, I'll watch it. Thanks :) [P.S this is a really OLD list. I might edit or create a part 2]

51		Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak Academy- Hope Arc
52		GANTZ Honestly, I don't like the MC in this at all. But overall, the anime belongs in this list. Another survival 'game' type.
53		Devilman: Crybaby The beginning was soooo weeeiiiirrrd. But yeah; a boy reborn as of is inhabited by a demon and is fighting other demons to maintain peace unknowingly dancing to the tune of an evil mastermind hiding in plain sight. {{WARNING!!!! Anime contains Unjustified deaths that will cause uneasiness or rage!!}}

55		Puella Magi Madoka Magica As of 12/24/18 I haven't seen this yet, but other people have recommended this in comments and personally lol, so I'll keep it here till I watch it.

Great list. There's a few I'd add though.

Inuyashiki (dying old man and homicidal teenager become cyborgs; the former uses his newfound powers to fight crime)
Grimgar (group find themselves in an RPG-esque world; the story follows their daily struggles living in this unfamiliar world)
91 Days (kid's family gets murdered by the mafia; he sets out to kill the ones who did it)
Seirei no Moribito
Shinsekai Yori
Attack on Titan (humanity's fight to survive against colossal man-eating creatures)
Evangelion
Megalo Box (guy loses a fight against a famous boxer; enters a boxing tournament in hopes of beating him)
Gankutsuou
Ajin (kid finds out he's an Ajin, an immortal being; has to run away to avoid being taken into custody)
Kaiji (from the same mangaka as Akagi)
The Promised Neverland (the story of three kids living in a seemingly innocent orphanage)

The rest I can't really summarize since it has been years since I've watched them. 91 Days and Shinsekai Yori are definitely the darkest ones of the bunch.

Future Diary and Darling in the Franxx hold special place in my heart. Seraph of the End is a must watch aswell :)

Thank you guys for suggeseting anime to be on this list. Some aren't on there simply because I haven't watched them yet; I've heard of them, but just didn't watch.
