Overall, it was a cute anime film.

I watched it with my boyfriend, and the character of Minato reminded me of him and our relationship.

The film's message is quite sweet, but it still made me sad; it did not have a particularly sad ending, but knowing how much I would struggle if my boyfriend was gone made me sad.
I understand that life isn't all puppies and rainbows, and this movie is focused toward mature romance, so I appreciate how realistic it was in that regard.
