It is a complete rip off of Evangelion and has the balls to say original story. It is basically Evangelion with dinosaurs and a crap romance plot. This anime puts a bad name on mechas because the mechs in Darling look like an elementary students drawing. Their mechas design to how they work is urtter garbage. But it did have one good thing and that was 02 thats it everyone else is either a rip off or a complete mess.
